Of course I coupon at the Outlet Mall! I was recently surprised to discover that so many of my fellow couponers were not aware this was even a possibility. Visit the website of the Outlet Mall you are planning to shop, then join their e-mail list and free VIP Program. This will include special offers and coupons. My last Outlet Mall experience was while I was on vacation. At this particular outlet, when you sign up online to become a member, that entitles you to a free coupon book that must be picked up at the mall's information desk. Upon arrival to the mall, I picked up my coupon book which was nice and thick. I was able to use those coupons in addition to the sale the store was running, on merchandise that was already outlet priced.
My favorite purchase of the day is worth sharing! I walked into the Coach Factory Outlet and was told the entire store was on sale 50% off! I knew I had a 20% off coupon in the book I'd just received. Combine the two offers, voila 70% off a new Coach purse! Can you imagine my coupon shopping bliss? I purchased a gorgeous gray patent leather bag that was marked $358, and only paid $108!
Another tip is to visit the website of each outlet store and sign up for e-mails. By doing this you will receive exclusive offers and coupons. Here's an example of an outlet store website Under Armour Outlet. Just type in the name of the particular store, then type the word outlet after it in your search engine, and you will be surprised how many stores offer exclusive savings through signing up online.
It does take a little planning and research, but the savings will be worth it! Just think how much more you will be able to get with the same amount of money. Nothing says Retail Therapy like an outlet mall, at least for me anyway. The more bags, the better :)
This can be done at any of the stores at the Outlet Mall. In summary, sign up online (for the mall and the individual stores within the mall) and obtain coupons. Use the coupons in combination with store sales to maximize savings. A couple additional tips are to shop off-season and buy the next size up for your children, preparing for the next season. The discounts are deeper, then add the coupons on top and SCORE!! Lastly, when you enter a store, start with clearance and sale racks, saving the pretty item catching your eye in the window for last.
